Three Head Energy Companies Make This Year’s Gaselle List

Three companies in the Head Energy Group have been named Gaselle companies by Dagens Næringsliv in 2026. For Head Energy Solve, this is the third consecutive year on the list. Head Energy Introcon and Head Energy Multicontrol have made the list for the first time.
The Gaselle list highlights Norwegian companies that have achieved strong growth and profitability over time. With three companies from the same group qualifying this year, Head Energy is one of only a few groups with three companies on the list.
Strong growth across three companies
Head Energy Solve provides engineering services and project support. The company generated revenue of NOK 253 million and grew by 110% over three years.
Head Energy Multicontrol develops and delivers electronics, automation and control systems, including for the subsea and aquaculture industries. Revenue grew by 114% over the measurement period.
Head Energy Introcon supports clients throughout the construction process, from early planning to completion. The company grew by 377% over three years.

Three Gaselle companies at a time when job creation is slowing
This year’s review shows that Gaselle companies created 10,131 new jobs in a single year, while job creation across the rest of Norway is slowing sharply.
This puts the growth into perspective. Three Head Energy companies are among those qualifying for the Gaselle list, and the group’s overall growth has also helped create jobs.
“Behind the figures are employees who do important work for our customers every day. We are proud of their efforts and congratulate everyone at Head Energy Introcon, Head Energy Multicontrol and Head Energy Solve on being named Gaselle companies this year. It is our employees, our customers and our collaboration with them that have made this possible,” says Morten Leikvoll, CEO of Head Energy Group.

What does it mean to be a Gaselle company?
The Gaselle awards are an annual recognition programme run by Dagens Næringsliv to honour Norwegian companies that demonstrate impressive growth and profitability.
To qualify as a Gaselle company, a business must:
- Submit approved financial statements
- Have a positive operating result for the period as a whole
- Have at least doubled its revenue over three years. The increase must not be due to a temporary drop in revenue immediately before the period
- Have avoided a decline in revenue
- Have revenue of more than NOK 1 million in the first year and NOK 5 million in the final year
- Have been incorporated as a limited company (AS)
These criteria ensure that only companies with sustainable growth and sound finances are recognised as Gaselle companies.
